SPSS exercise 4.7

A survey was conducted among a random sample of Dutch teenagers to determine the association between amount of attention received from their parents and amount of time spent chatting online. Parental attention is measured using a scale technique with a numerical scale from 1 ("hardly any parental attention") to 9 ("a lot of parental attention"). The amount of time spent chatting online is measured in number of hours spent chatting in the past seven days. The researcher suspects that teenagers chat more when they receive less parental attention.
